General terms and conditions for pitches

Dear guests, these details are provided to avoid any misunderstanding. We thank you for your trust and hope your next holiday will become an unforgettable memory.

The signatory of this contract must respect the dates indicated. Signing this contract implies full knowledge and acceptance of the general terms and conditions. By signing the rental agreement, the tenant commits on behalf of themselves and all occupants, for whom they act as guarantor.

The booking becomes effective once the tenant has sent the following to the owner:

  • A €46 deposit
  • The completed and signed booking contract

Of the deposit paid, €8 corresponds to booking fees. These fees are retained by the campsite and are non-refundable.

The pitch allocation is decided by the campsite depending on availability (please bring at least a 30m electrical cable). Only one installation and a maximum of 6 people are allowed per pitch. In case of non-compliance, a second pitch will be automatically charged. Upon departure, the tenant must leave the pitch clean and clear (fill any holes if necessary).

To better satisfy your needs, please provide as much information as possible about your accommodation type when booking. Guests returning for the same dates on the same pitch are given priority.

Check-in after 3:00 PM / Check-out before 12:00 PM.
Upon arrival, guests must read and comply with the campsite rules.

The tenant agrees to leave the pitch clean and ensure no visible trace of pets during the stay. No droppings must be left on the pitch. Failure to respect these basic hygiene rules will result in additional charges. Any damage caused by pets is the sole responsibility of the tenant and will be deducted from the deposit. Pets must never be left unattended. Dogs must be kept on a leash within the campsite.

In case of cancellation due to duly justified force majeure (registered letter with acknowledgment of receipt), the following conditions apply.

For additional security, cancellation insurance is available.

All cancellations must be notified by registered letter with valid justification.

  • More than 60 days before arrival: refund of deposit minus €8 booking fee
  • Between 60 and 30 days before arrival: deposit is retained by the campsite
  • Less than 30 days before arrival: the campsite may require full payment of the stay (in accordance with the law)

If the tenant fails to arrive within 24 hours of the scheduled arrival date, the contract becomes void, the deposit is retained, and the campsite reserves the right to claim the full balance and reassign the pitch.

The campsite offers cancellation insurance (Gritchen Affinity: 3.7% of the stay total), strongly recommended. No refund can be made without this insurance. In case of cancellation by the campsite, all payments will be refunded.

The campsite cannot be held responsible for theft or damage to personal belongings. It is also not liable for accidents, injuries, illness or death occurring during activities inside or outside the campsite.

The campsite is not responsible for force majeure events or disturbances affecting the stay. Minor inconveniences of outdoor camping (insects, etc.) are considered part of the experience and no compensation will be granted.

All information in brochures and on the website (photos, descriptions, activities, services, dates) is indicative and not contractual. Some facilities may be unavailable for climatic or operational reasons without liability of the campsite.

Child safety is entirely the responsibility of parents or legal guardians, especially around the swimming pool and playground. Guests must ensure they have valid comprehensive liability insurance.

Visitors, extra vehicles, pets, etc. are subject to current campsite pricing.

Speed limit is 10 km/h. Only one vehicle is allowed per pitch. Parking is prohibited in lanes and must be on the rented pitch only. Guests must avoid any noise disturbing others, especially radios, TVs and other devices, particularly between 11:00 PM and 7:00 AM. Entrance gates are closed between 11:30 PM and 6:30 AM.

The aquatic area is strictly reserved for campsite guests. Children under 18 must be accompanied by an adult within the pool area. Swim briefs or swimsuits are mandatory; shorts, board shorts and bermudas are prohibited for hygiene reasons. Anyone failing to comply with these rules may be excluded from the pool area or, in case of refusal to comply, from the campsite. Dogs are not allowed in the pool area.

You expressly authorize Camping Clair Matin, free of charge, to use on any medium photographs of you or your children that may be taken during your stay for the campsite’s advertising and promotional purposes.

If you do not wish to grant this authorization, simply inform reception.

Some stays may be eligible for financial assistance granted by social services or other organizations. Any request for assistance must be made at the time of booking. Requests submitted after the booking confirmation has been issued will not be considered.

If all or part of the stay is not covered by these organizations, the guest may cancel the booking but will forfeit all amounts already paid.

If the organizations fail to pay all or part of the approved assistance, the guest remains responsible for paying the outstanding balance of the stay.
